Val Harris
Val voluntarily gave up sugar in 2019. She now manifests on a daily basis and she would like to share with you how fundamental it is to lead an authentic loving life from the skin out.
She has run her art gallery, The Table, www.thetablehay.com in the centre of Hay since 2016 but in January 2020, with no exhibition for ten weeks, she turned that space into a workshop for her gongs and emerging art practise. As the lockdown hit, and the gallery returned to hosting monthly virtual exhibitions, she was offered/manifested a hall to work from. The gongs arranged themselves in the front and a stripped back kitchen served as her art studio out the back. She had no excuse not to indulge in her creativity by banging and daubing.
Val qualified as an Energy Healer in 2009 and started playing the gong in 2010 www.valgongs.me albeit peripatetically. With the gongs installed in the hall by April 2020, and no one allowed to come and listen to them, Val undertook a crash course in sound recording and within the month she was streaming her gongs live via binaural audio all over the world.
Witnessing her own transformation that year has galvanised Val into offering a retreat space for others here in the heart of Hay. She has reunited with her old healing friend James, after a period of some ten years, so that they might hold a space for those who want to to embrace a slower, more loving and creative way of being.
During the retreat Val holds two gong baths plus a session of creative mark making in her hall and is available for guided walks if requested.
James Coombes
Val first met James in 2006 when they were both at the School of Energy Healing. Since then they have run residential sound healing retreats and workshops with the intention of opening to our creative potential through sound and movement.
James offers daily Holistic Energy Healing sessions during these retreats giving you an opportunity to go inward and shine a light on whatever is presenting for you. If you’ve got no pressing issues then just relax and receive an energising, restorative ‘tune up’ healing from one of the best!
